New Zealander Katherine Wiles holds an F.T.C.L. Voice from Trinity College, London, and a Masters (Opera) from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  Katherine has performed many roles, undertaken covers and has sung full-time with the Opera Australia Chorus since 2008, appearing in a long list of productions in Australia and overseas. Roles include Papagena (The Magic Flute), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Mrs Nordstrom (A Little Night Music), Adina/Giannetta (The Elixir of Love), Cupid (Orpheus in the Underworld), Valencienne (The Merry Widow) and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni). Recent solo concert work includes Serenade to Music (Sydney Symphony Orchestra), Messiah (Sydney Philharmonia Choirs) both at the Sydney Opera House, as well as extensive concert and oratorio performances throughout the UK, Europe and New Zealand.
