Most recently, Michael was involved in the GFO workshop of the Charles Kingsford Smith musical, having been previously involved in it last year. In 2015 he was a resident performer in Opera Australia’s tour of ”Cinderella”, and from 2012-2014 he portrayed the flying ace Lt. Buzz Adams in Opera Australia’s “South Pacific,” as well as covering and performing the roles of Lt. Joseph Cable and Stewpot. Elsewhere, he has played the role of Conrad Birdie in Squabbalogic’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie”, and originated the title role of Sinbad in the Malaysian production of “Sinbad the Musical” directed by Joe Hasham OAM. Further credits include the roles of Shaun in Monkey Baa’s “Pete the Sheep” and Harry Houdini in “SideShow” at the Hayes Theatre. He is a regular member of the corporate group “La Forza”, performing on cruise ships all throughout the Southern Hemisphere. He has also appeared on screen in the TV series “Home and Away” and “Out of the Blue.” Michael gained a Diploma of Music Theatre from NIDA, and outside of the theatre is a keen rowing coach at the University of New South Wales Rowing Club.
